ICC India Executive Committee


The business of the ICC India is managed by an Executive Committee composed as per the ICC India Constitution.

ICC India executive committee has power to perform all executive duties to carry on the work of ICC India and to take such steps, as they may consider necessary for giving effect to the resolutions passed at the General Meetings of the ICC India and generally to exercise all powers and functions of the India. This is done through the democratic election process. All corporate members are eligible to become executive committee members through the annual elective process. Only Patron members have the automatic representation on the ICC India Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee has the power:

  1. To perform all executive duties to carry on the work of the ICC India
  2. To take offices for the use of the ICC India, to defray all necessary expenses and to appoint an Executive Director and such other officers as may be found necessary for due conduct of the business of the ICC India with monthly salaries or otherwise.
  3. To act in the name of the ICC India, to take such steps, as they may consider necessary or expedient for giving effect to the resolutions passed at the General Meetings of the ICC India and generally to exercise all powers and functions of the ICC India not hereby exclusively conferred upon the General Meetings of the ICC India.
  4. To appoint such Committees and ad hoc Committees, Working Groups, etc. and delegate to them such functions on such terms and conditions as the Executive Committee may from time to time deem fit.
  5. To present a report of their proceedings and statement of accounts of the ICC India duly certified by the auditors at the Annual Meeting of the ICC India.
